Dear Valued Customers,
I am Senior Developer Seokkyu Kim from SHAKS Gamehub.
First and foremost, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your patience in awaiting the app update.
We have received your continuous requests for improvements and have endeavored to enhance the app whenever possible. However, due to internal circumstances, it has been exceedingly challenging to release an updated version.
We deeply regret that we have been unable to provide any updates for a prolonged period of 1 year and 3 months, despite the presence of numerous bugs. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
We have been making significant efforts to comply with the new Google Play policies. However, it was only after receiving a recent warning regarding Google Play Developer Policy violations that we were able to address the issues.
Although it took some time, we focused on upgrading the app from Android 13 to Android 15 and prioritized fixing the most critical bugs that occurred during the appโs operation. As a result, the app was successfully released on the morning of October 28th, and all warning actions have been lifted.
This version has been prepared as a priority measure to support Android 15, focusing on compliance with policies. In particular, a new policy requiring an explanation of why foreground services are used has been introduced, and we have submitted the relevant documentation to Google Play.
As you may know, the SHAKS Gamehub app is a product that needs to fully utilize the systemโs capabilities. We have an obligation to design for various system environments, including foldable phones and rollable phones. These situations can create critical issues with mapping data coordinates, so applying foreground services is essential to provide a suitable state.
The foreground service applied within the app is used solely for the currently connected gamepad and does not collect any personal information. It is used for one connected device only. If you need to switch gamepads, please make sure to restart the app to reconnect.
With this version, we have barely improved the app to a usable state, focusing on supporting Android 15. However, unforeseen issues may still arise. If you encounter any inconveniences while using the app, please contact us at [email protected].
Currently, we are only able to respond to inquiries in English, and we kindly ask for your understanding.
